If you love to applique, this pattern is for YOU! Super simple, raw edge fusible applique makes this whimsical set of panels that can be given any time of year and for any occasion. Fabrics are your choice and can be tailored for boy, girl, or the entire family (gender neutral)!

Pattern consists of two downloads – Print Instructions and Pattern Pages. You may not choose to make all 8 train cars. The handy printing instructions will save you from having to print every single pattern piece.

I have rated this pattern as “TEST YOUR SKILLS”

This is my way of saying, you can do it but you may have to exercise care a patience and perhaps work at it a little to get it just right – especially if you are a beginner and you haven’t had much experience yet.

If you have experience with creating raw-edge fusible applique, you will find this pattern to be fairly straight forward and easy (depending on your level of experience with using fusible web products).

Other required skills are measuring and cutting (rotary cutter and self-healing mat and quilter’s rulers are recommended, although are not necessary).

Panels can be hand or machine quilted. Finished panels require binding skills.

• Applique Fuse Sheets

All applique pieces have been drawn for you in mirror image so that you do not need to re-draw a thing. In addition, these drawings have been created with convenience in mind because they can be printed directly onto printer friendly fusible web sheets! All you need to do is print and then cut them out and fuse the pieces onto your fabric!

Applique: Bear, Snake, Monkeys, Panda, Zebra, Skunk, Owl, Parrot, Lion, Giraffe, Elephant, Turtle, Frog, Dragonfly, Butterfly, Snail, Caterpillar, Flowerpot, and Spider, Bunting, Banner, Balloons, and Hearts

• Applique Trace Sheets – Used hand-in-hand with the applique fuse sheets, this pattern also provides you with trace sheets for every applique. Trace sheets include a completed drawing of each appliqued animal in it’s final position.

This is super handy for assembling each applique.
